Evan Blog

The journey is the reward

Evan

About Me

Hi, I’m Evan — a software engineer, a gamer, a wanderer between cities, and someone still learning how to live with clarity.

I build systems, chase down bugs, shape architectures, and currently work in the world of Web3 gaming.
My work keeps my logic sharp, but life stretches far beyond logic alone.

I love the immersion of AAA games and the quiet company of cats.
I enjoy late-night drives, and the way a good book or film can open a hidden door in the mind.
Photography is my newest obsession — with a Fuji XT5 in hand, I try to capture the balance between motion and stillness in the city,
those fleeting pockets of order in an otherwise restless world.

In the past few years, I’ve walked through long relationships, breakups, attempts at repair, and the eventual release.
I’ve dealt with team reshuffles, technical rebuilds, and career doubts.
None of these moments were glamorous, but they shaped me in ways I couldn’t ignore.

Now I’m learning languages, psychology, design — slowly assembling a clearer version of myself.
Someday, I hope to become a digital nomad, carrying my work and curiosity across borders.

This blog is where I store the echoes:
notes on technology, games, travel, self-reflection, and the small sparks that appear along the way.
Sometimes honest, sometimes sharp, occasionally touched with a quick drop of humor.
I want this place to grow into a map — one that connects who I was, who I am, and who I’m becoming.

If you’ve wandered in, feel free to walk with me for a while.
